Power on by keyboard

Another cool trick that helps you to power on your pc using KEY-BOARD without power switch .
what you need is a Gigabyte motherboard then you can use an interesting feature.
There is a bios setting that will allow you to power on your PC by the help of your key board or mouse. That means you can use a password to start your PC. Just enable this feature from the bios setting.




To enable this feature you have to enter into the Bios Settings! To enter into Bios Settings of Gigabyte Motherboard you have to press Del from your keyboard during booting. Then you need to access Power Management Setup option. After entering in this option you will see there three options.
1. Power on by Mouse
2. Power on by Keyboard
3. Keyboard Power on Password
If you decided to power on your PC(Computer) by double clicking with your mouse, you have to enter into the option one. There you will get two options to choose.
1. Disabled
2. Double Clicking Power On
Now you have to enter into the second option. Now press F10 (Function Key) from your keyboard to save the settings. A message will appear asking you...
Save to CMOS and Exit (Y/N)? Y
Now press Y from your Keyboard. And press Enter.

But if you want to Power On from your Keyboard, you need to go to 2. Power on by Keyboard and press Enter. Now you will get three Options.
1. Disabled
2. Password
3. Keyboard 98
Now go to Password option and press enter. Again go to 3. Keyboard Power on Password and press Enter. Now a message will appear like this...
Enter Password: ****
Give your desired password here and press Enter again another message will appear like this...
Confirm Password: ****
Again press Enter and save the CMOS settings by pressing F10 button.
