Lock a folder without any software

Sometimes you need to hide or lock some important files also personal files from others. But the softwares available to do so is costly.
What to do???

Let's try what we can do about it.

Suppose, the folder you want to lock is named "personal" and its present in Drive G, So the path is G:\personal

Steps:

1. To lock desired folder, open a notepad and type-
ren personal personal.{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D}

2. Save file as lock.bat

3. Open another notepad file and type 

ren personal.{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D} personal

4. Save file as key.bat
 

5. Now copy your created files lock.bat & key.bat to G Drive.

6. Now when you click[in other words, RUN] lock.bat file, the folder will be locked.

7. To Unlock the folder just click or RUN key.bat file.




Isn't that easy?
